oats soup


 BORED OF REGULAR OATMEAL???? GET THE INDIAN PUNCH IN OATS

VEGETABLE OATS SOUP


INGREDIENTS:
  • Oats – ½ cup
  • Vegetables (carrot, beans and cabbage) – ½ cup finely chopped
  • Water – 3 cups
  • Corn flour or rice flour – 1 tbsp
  • Pepper – to taste
  • Salt – to taste


PREPARATION:
  • In a pan, fry oats without oil for less than a minute and set aside.
  • In the same pan, pour 1 cup of water and drop in cup of vegetables to boil. Once they have boiled, pour rest of the water and add oats. Leave it to boil well until oats is well cooked.
  • Finally mix corn flour in water and slowly pour the mixture to boiling soup while stirring.
  • Finally add pepper and salt. Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot.
